SplashtopSOS is an application that will allow for IT Support Technicians to remote into your computer and take control for the purpose of resolving issues. You will provide your IT Tech with a code that he/she will use to remotely access your computer. The step by step to downloading SplashtopSOS is below:
1. Go to the website: https://sos.splashtop.com/
2. You should see SplashtopSOS automatically download in top right corner
If you see "Unverified download blocked", left-click the popup and click "Download unverified file".
3. Click the download icon in the top right corner and left click SplashtopSOS.exe to launch the app.
4. You should see a window like this below. Please wait a few moments and you will be given a 9 digit code. Please send this code the IT personnel that is assisting your issue and he/she will able to remote into your computer.
